Welcome!

____Greetings from the Friends of Costa Rica (FoCR)!
FoCR is an official organization based in
Washington D.C. and an affiliate of the National Peace Corps
Association.
FoCR was created in 2007 by a group of Returned Peace Corps Vounteers (RPCV) who wanted to create a
community of people interested in Costa Rica. This includes RPCVs, PCVs,
family, friends, other Costa Rica-based volunteers and all those interested
in giving back to Costa Rica.
FoCR provides assistance in the form of small grants and resources to support community driven projects that volunteers are involved in. In addition, we coordinate Costa Rica cultural events and awareness activities in the U.S., both as a part of the Third Goal of Peace Corps and as a means to strengthen support for the people of Costa Rica. Learn more, get involved and help give back to Costa Rica – the country that gave us so much! Support Peace Corps Costa Rica Projects
